Ad-Hoc Reporting feature is an add-on that allows users to build custom reports for exporting and analyzing Gorilla Expense data. If you have subscribed to this feature, the following document will provide an overview of how to access this feature.

Steps to access the Ad-Hoc Reporting:

1)  Please go to Analytics -> Reports -> Custom Reporting to access it.

2) Once you click on the link, you will be redirected in a new tab to the custom reporting environment, a new tab will open and the following page will be shown –

3) Only admin users will see the "Ad Hoc Views" section and can create more ad-hoc views as required or view/modify existing views.

4) Regular users will only see the "Reports" section and will be able to create new reports and/or save existing reports as new reports.

5) Once you click on the "View list" link under reports, you will see most of the existing canned reports in there. You can open them and run them.

6) However, not all reports present in the standard reporting list are available on this new Custom Reporting link. We have created all the required views and the main reports and the users can create new reports as and when required using these ad-hoc views and/or existing reports. Some reporting or excel skills may be required - the best way to create a new report is to open an existing one and then click on "Save As". Regular users will not be able to overwrite existing reports, however they will be able to use the Save As option to create a new report from an existing report. Only admin users can make changes to existing reports.

7) You can schedule the reports by right-clicking the report and then click on Schedule, then click on Create Schedule. On the next screen, there are 4 tabs at the top that you will need to set. Notifications tab is where you will specify where the report should be emailed to you.
