Can the comments field be made mandatory?


The comments field is mandatory only when receipt is not attached. But you can enable Business Purpose Field if you would like to - this field can be configured to be mandatory. To enable business purpose field, please follow the following steps

1) Login as Admin and go to "Masters-> Role Expense Detail Mapping -> Select Role (one or all roles) -> Enable Business Purpose Field and Mark it mandatory. Please see the attached image

2) If you want to change the default label for Business Purpose to something else like Details etc, then go to Masters -> Configure Label

3) Users will have to log out and log in on the mobile app. In rare instances, a re-install is required if changes are not reflected after logging out and then back in.
