1. Service Account Running eConnect Needs to be same on Client and SQL/Other Server
2. The account that is running eConnect needs to be part of DYNGRP on SQL Server
3. Give Access to Event Log on Client Machine
- Open the Registry Editor:
- Select Start then Run
- Enter regedt32 or regedit -> Right click -> Run as Administrator
- Navigate/expand to the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Eventlog
- Right click on this entry and select Permissions
- Give all permissions to user running GP eConnect service (user marked in the screenshot above). Also, give all permissions to the user logged in to the windows
- Navigate/expand to the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Eventlog\Security
- Right click on this entry and select Permissions
- Give all permissions to user running GP eConnect service (user marked in the screenshot above). Also, give all permissions to the user logged in to the windows
- Restart eConnect service on client
4. Provide the following to Gorilla Expense
- SQL Server Host Name or IP Address
- SQL Server DB name (for all relevant Dynamics GP companies)
